Bobbi brown foundation stick

If Hi everyone!
How are you?

This is going to be a post of a review on bobbi browns foundation stick. I got this a few month ago from York outlet. The price was £19.75 which is cheaper than usual because i bought it from York outlet, and they stock over produced items I think.

If you don't know about bobbi brown here's some information about her:

Bobbi's view might seem unconventional. But to women around the world, it comes as a welcome relief.
Bobbi believes that "makeup is a way for a woman to look and feel like herself, only prettier and more confident." Through Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, Bobbi enables every woman to enhance her unique beauty. With straightforward, easy-to-use cosmetics in timeless hues, all formulated to create a smooth, natural, and healthy appearance.

Even as a young girl, Bobbi was enthralled by makeup. "I remember watching my mother apply her white eye shadow and black liner in her blue gilded bathroom—she was glamorous, but fresh-looking." And as soon as she was able to work, Bobbi raced to the small cosmetics store in town, where she got her first taste of formal training. She continued her studies at Boston's Emerson College, where she earned a B.F.A. in theatrical makeup. Bobbi's big breakthrough was her first American Vogue cover.
Ten years into her freelance career, a chance meeting with a chemist at a magazine photo shoot changed everything. "I had the idea to create a lipstick that didn't smell, wasn't dry or greasy, and looked like lips, only better—and I told the chemist about it," she says.

The chemist made the lipstick following Bobbi's unprecedented specifications and the result was Brown Lip Color, a pinky-brown shade. Nine other brown-based lipstick shades followed soon after, and Bobbi's set of lipsticks was complete.

The message was clear: Women wanted makeup that was simple, flattering, and wearable.

So that's all about bobbi brown.
Here's my little review on her foundation stick (she used this backstage this year in New York fashion week) hehe!
I hope you enjoy!

I bought the bobbi brown foundation stick at York outlet, it was a little cheaper than at a counter or store or website.
That's the price I paid. If you were to go to a counter in debhenhams you would pay £29, if you were to buy from here website bobbi brown.co.uk it would be £29. So York outlet is nearly £10 cheaper.
This is the packaging it comes in, the outside box is cardboard and black with white writing. Very simple but stylish, black seems to be a ongoing colour used in the higher end makeup world a lot, but I'm not complaining I love black, it's stylish and classic and never goes out of style!.
The actual product packaging is a black metal tube with a gold rim around the middle which continues inside to form the tube what the foundation comes out of.
You get a fair amount of product as you can see above, it would last a while because the coverage is medium but you can build it up to full.
This is a few swipes of the foundation, it's medium to full coverage it is so creamy and buildable. You can work with it easily and it blends flawlessly.
I use it on my face all over with a little powder, and I'm good to go for the whole day.
It's such a great product, it looks beautiful on the skin and lasts all day, I guess that's why they used it at New York fashion week!

You could pop it in your makeup bag or purse and have it with you for touch ups but you won't need it.
You can travel with it as it's all you need it's within the fluid limit so your good to go on holiday.

Overall I honestly love this product it's easy to apply & blend so your not spending ages doing your makeup if your in a rush.
It's great coverage and I really recommend this to anyone and everyone who wants a flawless finish.
This is my first bobbi brown product and won't be my last! I can't wait to pick more things up.

Thankyou for reading & I hope you enjoyed.

So that's a little about makeup revolution, now onto the review.

The ionic3 palette has 12 shades a mix of shimmer and matte, the colours are a good dupe for the urban decay naked 3 palette, as they have the rose gold undertones in some of the shadows.

The price for the palette is £4. That's amazing and you get good quality and quantity for the price.

The packaging is a black and clear plastic case with gold writing. It showcases the colours inside and comes with a applicator. It's steady and durable but not bulky so great for traveling or popping in a makeup bag to bring with you somewhere.
The shadows themselves are soft to touch, there smooth and silky feeling on the skin. They are a dream to work with and blend really well so it doesn't take a long time to achieve a perfectly flawless look.

You can create day time looks that are light and natural and soft or sultry smokey looks for nights where you want to look fierce and sexy.
The colours would be lovely on a range of skin tones from fair to dark, it will make you look and feel beautiful.

There's no names for the shadows but the swatches show the pigmints and intensity of a swipe of a finger, if you packed more on a brush on your eye the colour would be stunning.

I really enjoy using the palette I love how it looks and feels whilst applying. I really recommend this palette and the whole makeup revolution line. Their shadows are a breeze to work with and the colour pay off is incredible.

I will be posting different looks you can create on here so keep your eyes Pealed.
Well, I hope you enjoyed this review and please comment and let me know what you think, I'd appreciate it so much!.

Mini superdrug haul

Hiya!, hello!, Bonjour, Hola!.
How are you? Hope you're well.

This post is going to be a mini haul on what I got from superdrug online. The products are all from makeup revolution, a makeup brand I'm obsessed with.
So I orderd the stuff last Saturday and I received the parcel Thursday but I was out, so I had to wait until today which is Saturday to collect, finally I have my hands on the goodies! Yay!

I couldn't wait to rip it open and see what was inside to play with it all! It was packaged well, no damage on the outside box was apparent so I new my goodies were safe.
When I opened the box I was excited, but I thought superdrug had given me an extra palette but no such look I just accidentally orderd two of the same thing, so I'll be taking that back or swapping .

Ok the first thing is a palette from makeup revolution called girls on film.
It's name is salvation palette girls on film, it's called a salvation palette because for the first time makeup revolution have combined Shimmer and Matte Shades in a palette.
It has 18 shadows in the palette all super pigmented and gorgeous! To create different glamorous looks.

The next palette I bought was the run boy run palette again from makeup revolution.
It again is a salvation palette and has 18 highly pigminted shades. Mixing matte and shimmer to give you the ability to use your creativity to complete looks for all occasions.

The next palette is again a makeup revolution palette, called what you waiting for?
This palettes name makes me sing Gwendoline stefani's 'what you waiting' for song!
It again is another palette in the salvation series, there's 6 palettes altogether.
This palette is a perfect mix of nudes and naturals and smoky shades for all day long looks.

These salvation palettes are Limited Edition with 18 shades of super high pay off, and come with large mirrors which they haven't done before!. The prices of the palettes are £6 each which is a great price for a palette and it's such amazing quality you can't resist the urge you have to buy!

The next palette is from makeup revolution again called ionic 3
This is a 12 shade palette from the redemption collection. I would say this palette is a good dupe for the urban decay naked 2 palette, so if you don't want to splurge on urban decay this is a good dupe! And the price was amazing £4!! Yup I said £4!.
The palette is a mix of pearl, shimmer and matte shades.

The next palette is called the essential mattes.
It's another 12 shade palette which is a mix of neutral matte shades good for day looks and you can darken it up for night looks too.
There's 10 different palettes in the redemption collection all with 12 shades and ultra high payoff.
the price of the palettes are £4 each, which is a brilliant price for a palette of such great quality.

The next product I bought was a foil eyeshadow.
This is in rose gold, it comes in a little box as you can see with a applicator, mixing tray and liquid eye primer. It's a lovely colour and there's other colours available.
It is a good idea that it comes as a set so it makes it easier to use and applicate because you have the products there in the box.
It was £5, not a bad price for what you get. I cannot wait to use it to make dramatic looks that will get people asking 'how did you do that'.

So I cannot wait to use the products and I will do individual reviews on them and some looks you can create using the products.
The prices are brilliant and the quality is amazing you get more than you pay for, I think it makes it more attractive and a good selling point!

Hope you enjoyed the little haul and look out for the reviews on them individually & different makeup looks you can create using the palettes & eyeshadow.

Thankyou for reading,
Love & hugs

Nyx Xtreme lip creams

Hello everyone.

I hope your ok!?

This post is going to be on two NYX Xtreme lip creams I bought a month ago from next. They were £7 each which is not bad at all, the quality of the lip creams are the Boom.com, and I'd have paid a little more for them, but I'm secretly happy the prices are so good! There are 11 other lip creams available but I choose something easy to try out.

So if you don't know anything about NYX here's a little background on them.
NYX Cosmetics was named after the ancient Greek goddess who ruled the night if you didn't know, and is known for rich pigments and high payoff in products. NYX is available in 70+ countries!. NYX originated and is headquartered in the heart of sunny Los Angeles. The cosmetics line was founded in 1999 by a young entrepreneur named Toni K. Toni has been involved in color cosmetics since she was a teenager and has always desired to create and share a line of cosmetics that provided quality products at approachable prices.

The first colour I bought was XLC08 skin tone
It's a really nice brown nude colour, it gives you the "my lips but better" effect. It makes them look fuller and more voluptuous.
The texture is soft and creamy, it's not sticky and it's a great colour pigmentation as you can see.
It will leave your lips soft and it does last a really good amount of time, when you drink cup to mouth way it comes off a little but there's still lots of colour on your lips so don't worry about it coming off as it does stain the lips too!
The packaging is a clear plastic tube with a black top, but you can see the colour of the lip cream inside which I like as it's easy to find in your makeup collection and you know the colour as soon as you pick the product up.

The next colour is XLC10 natural
This colour is beautiful and is a nice pink brown colour. It looks natural and gives you luscious, voluptuous lips.
The texture again is soft and creamy but not sticky like most other lip creams. The cream has a thick consistency and isn't gloopy at all, it glides on the lips easily and gives you a high colour payoff.
The packaging is the same clear and black plastic tube with black writing. I do like the packaging as it's nice an compact to travel with, it's a good size to have with you in your purse too.
The applicator is a normal spongy tip that gets the product well and applies it easily too.

This lip cream is a hybrid of lipstick, lip gloss, and lip stain with intense pigmentation all in one. So if you were out for the day you could just have this little product with you instead of two or three, which cuts down application time and saves space! What can't this little magic lip cream do?

INGREDIENTS
INGREDIENTS: Ricinus Communs Seed Oil, Polybutene, Pentaerythrityl Tetraisostearate, Diisostearyl Malate, Polyglyceryl-2 Triisostearate, Synthetic Bees Wax, Silica Dimethyl Silylate, Tocopheryl Acetate, BHA, Fragrance, MAY CONTAIN: Mica (CI 77019), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), FD&C Yellow No.5 Al Lake (CI 19140), FD&C Blue No.1 Al Lake (CI 42090), Iron Oxide Red (CI 77491), Iron Oxide Yellow (CI 77492), Iron Oxide Black (CI 77499), D&C Red No.6 (CI 15850), D&C Red No.7 (CI 15850), D&C Red No.7 Ca Lake (CI 15850), D&C Red No.28 Al Lake (CI 45410)

I genuinely love these two lip creams and am over the moon on how amazing they are to wear. You don't need lip liner or lipstick with these you just glide them on and go, it's a time saver that a lot of people will be thankful for in their busy lives.

Everyone needs to have these Xtreme lip creams in there makeup collection and purse and handbag and office desk and car... Basically everywhere, there such an amazing little thing and for £7 you can't go wrong!

I do hope you liked this post, comment bellow and tell me if you have tried the NYX Xtreme lip creams and what you think?

NYX matte lipstick

Hi ya'll
How are you? Hope you are well, and having a great day!
This post is going to be on three Nyx matte lipsticks I had bought a month or so ago. There are 22 other matte shades available in the collection but I just wanted to dip my toes in and try out three.

They were £6 each which isn't bad at all and the quality is brilliant, you get way more than what you pay for in colour payoff and pigmentation. I purchased them at next in a little stand in the corner of the shop which annoyed me, they should have shelves full of NYX products in my opinion, but if you don't have a next online is the best place to get them there's more choice!.

If you don't know anything about NYX I will give you a little information.

So that's a little background on NYX for you, now let's get to the lipsticks.

The first colour I bought was nude.

It's a lovely pink colour it's not to in your face but a nice nude pink. The pigment in this lipstick is amazing a few swipes and you have lovely colour payoff and don't use too much of the product so it will last a little longer. It's a beautiful colour, will work well for day time or night!

The texture is soft and creamy which for a matte lipstick is rare! It will not dry your lips out at all! After you take it off your lips still feel soft I found that happened. You could wear this alone or with any nude to brown lip liner it will go with loads of looks and you won't get bored.
The packaging is the classic nyx black with white writing, the tube looks slick and stylish.
It has a clear plastic inside where the lipstick is and when the tube is closed you can see the colour which I really like so you don't have to uncap and cap every lipstick in your collection trying to find it, (which is super annoying).
I really like this colour and have worn it loads! It does stay put throughout the day, keeping your lips soft too, so you don't have to keep re applying all the time.

The next colour I bought was natural.
It's such a nice brown mauve colour, with a blue undertone (which keeps your chompers looking white *ding*).
Same again with this lip colour the pigment is brilliant so not much of the product needed!
It would suit all skin tones giving you a natural lip but much better appearance.
The packaging again is the black and white keeping it simple and stylish, like nyx always does!.
I really like the fact the clear plastic inside when the tube is closed shows the colour of the lipstick, it really does make it easier to find in your collection.

The final colour is indie flick.

Oh my gosh! I love this colour, it's nice and bright and good for days you want to be like 'look at my fabulous luscious lips!'. This again would suit all skin tones and look amazing.
The colour is a beautiful coral mixed with red tones.
The consistency is super soft just like the others and none drying, so you won't have cracked lips.
The packaging is the same but I think it's a winner especially the clear plastic showing the lipstick colour, it really makes it look good!

If anyone wants to know the ingredients i have piped them in, just incase, do feel free to skip over them if you aren't really interested
INGREDIENTS
Bees Wax, Copernicia Cerifera (Carnauba) wax, Euphorbia Cerifera (Candelilla)wax, Ceresin, Microcrystalline Wax, Polyethylene, Octyldodeanol, Polyisobutene, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Oleyl Alcohol, Isopropyl Palmitate, Isostearyl Isostearate, Bis-Digylceryl Polyacyladipade-2, Tocopheryl Acetate, B.H.A, and Fragrance. MAY CONTAIN: Mica (CI 77019), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Iron Oxide Red (CI 77491), Iron Oxide Yellow (CI 77492), Iron Oxide Black (CI 77499), D&C Red No.6 (CI 15850), D&C Red No.7 (CI 15850), D&C Red No.27 Aluminum Lake (CI 45410), FD&C Yellow No.5 Aluminum Lake (CI 19140), FD&C Blue No.1 Aluminum Lake (CI 42090), or D&C Red No.36 (CI 12085).

So overall I really enjoy using the lipsticks and would recommend them to everyone and the price, well it makes you want to buy more there so cheap!
I hope you enjoy this post, please comment and tell me your fav nyx lipstick?

Smash box hazel eyes

Hi everyone
This is going to be a review on smash box hazel eyes eye enhancing shadow palette.

So this cost me £22.25 at York outlet, it's abit expensive but the eye shadows are lovely quality.
The packaging is simple black outer box with white green writing and a picture of the palette inside.
Ok packaging nothing that wows you!
The palette packaging is black plastic with the same white & green writing.
It's sturdy which is good for traveling, it's easy to wipe clean to so it doesn't look old and dirty.

The names of the shadows are on the side of the box,
The names of the eyeshadow are:

Bliss- matte
Fortune- slight shimmer
Sage- slight shimmer

These colours above make up the soft trio.

Pastel- matte
Majestic- slight shimmer
Obsidian- slight shimmer

These colours above make up the smokey trio.

I personally think the colours are nice, they are so pigmented which I would expect for the price.
They are easy to work with and super blendable.
These are swatches of the soft trio

These are the smokey trio.

Personally I would mix and match to create my own looks, you could create different looks with these six colours day time into night time.
The two purples and the gold would make a lovely smokey eye and the pale purple and two goldy colours could make a subtle day eye.

There are other palettes available for other colours of eyes, I do like the palette but it's not a must have. Loreal or maybelline do pallets for colour eyes to so maybe get that if your on a budget.

Hope you liked this quick review

A New Makeup Revolution Has Begun.

Review on Makeup Revolutions Flawless Palette.

So I just discovered this brand of makeup called makeup revolution, their prices are brilliant, the quality is amazing and their products are to die for.

They have their items available in superdrug and on their website http://www.makeuprevolutionstore.com

I bought one of their many pallets the  Ultra 32 Shade Eyeshadow Palette FLAWLESS

it comes in metallic shiny pink packaging and the palette itself is black with gold writing, very classy I say.  It has 32 shades in the palette in total with a good mix of matte and shimmer. All the shades in the palette are new so that's good it's exclusive to the palette itself.

I purchased the palette for £8 which is a steal. The shadows themselves are very pigmented, easy to work with and blendable. I love how many different looks you can create with this palette, day time neutrals to bold sexy smokey night time looks. I absolutely love this palette it's so so easy to work with I used my fingers to do my eyeshadow yesterday and it looked amazing I got so many compliments on my eye makeup I couldn't believe it! It took me 5 mins to do my eyes and I have to say they looked better than they normally do, so for eyeshadows to look amazing using your fingers is saying so much for the quality of the shadows. It's the best £8 I've ever spent cannot wait to get my handies on more!!

So the outer packaging looks like this

It's a lovely pink gold shiny metallic colour, the flawless is a little hard to see here on the cover because it's the same colour as everything else.
The shadows are shown on the back and where it's made is shown underneath, the ingredients are on the underneath side of the box.

The actual casing looks like this
The black and gold go very well together it makes it look luxurious and expensive. I love the simplicity and the plastic casing is good quality and it closes fully it snaps shut.
Very ideal for traveling it would be every eye look you could ever need all in one palette!. Doesn't take up a lot of space it's slim and compact so you could slip it in a makeup bag easily and have room for other products too.

The beautiful shadows are amazing as I've said before, when you open the palette there's a plastic sheet protecting the shadows with all the names on.
The shadow names are:

Paper- matte
Almost there- matte
Smudge- matte
Pure chocolate- matte
Soft glow- shimmer
Uncover- shimmer
Shimmer heart- shimmer
Raw- matte
Buff- shimmer
Barley pink- matte
Universal- shimmer
Red night- shimmer
Highlite- shimmer
Lowlite- matte
Copper shimmer- shimmer
Molton chocolate- shimmer
Angel- shimmer
Golden night- shimmer
Medal- shimmer
Burgandy nights- shimmer
Unlimited- shimmer
Gold digger- shimmer
Darkest shimmer- shimmer
Green stars- shimmer
Brew- shimmer
Cheerless- shimmer
Tarnish- shimmer
CafÄ— noir- shimmer
Silver smoke- shimmer
Blue stars- shimmer
Black tie- shimmer
Night- shimmer

These are the swatches of the palette I genuinely love pretty much all of the colours, I have used this palette everyday since I purchased it!

Hope you found this review helpful
